“WaDuke” is our favorite hotel in Durham with a golf course view from the patio! Located across from Duke's campus, the hotel is about one mile from the Chapel and 2.5 miles from Vin Rouge, where the reception will be held. If you need to stretch your legs after traveling, there is also a three mile walking trail around the hotel's perimeter! Hilton Garden Inn Durham

The Hilton Garden Inn is another wonderful option! The hotel is located only one mile from the Chapel and under a half mile away from Vin Rouge, where the reception will be held. It is also a quick drive down Main Street to some lovely restaurants/shops and a two minute walk to a 24/7 Harris Teeter. To make a reservation for our wedding block, call (877)782-9444 and mention the Group Name: McManigle/Dennis Wedding & Group Code: MDW. Our block will be available until February 19.

The Hilton Durham is located a little further away, but still only a 10-15 minute drive to the Chapel and Vin Rouge. Travel Note

Getting around Durham

We do not suggest renting a car for the weekend, as all official wedding events are within a few miles of each other. We recommend using the Uber or Lyft app to get around town. As noted on the Events page, transportation will be provided from the Washington Duke Inn to the Chapel and then to Vin Rouge for the reception, directly following the ceremony. Transportation will additionally be provided from Vin Rouge back to the Washington Duke Inn following the reception. An early shuttle from the Washington Duke Inn to the Chapel will depart at 4:45 pm and the final shuttle to the Chapel will depart promptly at 5:15 pm. After the reception, a shuttle from Vin Rouge to the Washington Duke Inn will be available to take between 10:00 pm until midnight.
