Downtown Hendersonville

The bears are a local yearly thing that artists participate in. It's a quaint downtown, but plenty to see and a nice walk up and down Main Street.

Jump Off Rock

Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site

Visit the goats. Hike the trails around the grounds. Tour the house of one of the U.S.'s greatest poets and biographers.

Downtown Asheville

It's really the most remarkable collection of culinary, musical, and artistic delights!

River Arts District

Go to the Wedge Brewery and walk around to tour artists' studios/the best murals and street art in WNC.

Biltmore Estate

A must-see! Beautiful gothic architecture, wine tastings, and beautiful gardens.

The Omni Grove Park Inn

The groom used to work there. Of note, F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Vagabonds (Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone), Dan Aykroyd, and President Obama have frequented the historic Grove Park Inn.

One of the couple's favorite places to hike. Luca approved!

Blue Ridge Parkway

A local favorite is Graveyard Fields at mile marker 418.8. From the trailhead, it's less than a mile to a place commonly known as Skinny Dip Falls. It's the most visited National Park in the U.S, boasting twice the amount of visitors per year as Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone combined.

Green River Game Lands

Runner up for the couple's favorite hikes. Pulliam Creek Trailhead will take you on a fabulous hike to view The Narrows of Green River. The hike isn't so difficult until you get to the part where you descend by rope to view this area of the river. Totally worth it. The Bride doesn't recommend going at it alone.
