Shortly after David was hired at Kanuga Conferences, Lorna ran into him setting up bars for a fancy schmancy Board of Visitors weekend. A colleague of theirs was displaying no chill, when David inconspicuously told Lorna, "He needs to chill the [expletive deleted] out." Lorna, being the type of woman that appreciates when a man recognizes when someone needs to chill the [expletive deleted] out, inquired with several of her coworkers about David. Several working hours later, David was minding his own business bartending when Lorna not so casually walked up and asked him if he had a girlfriend. When he replied no, Lorna continued her smooth conversation skills, and eventually they exchanged numbers.

In August 2017, Lorna and David found out they would be parents. Luca Anders Hanson was born April 2, 2018. He's a funny boy who loves to dance and sing (especially Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House" and anything twenty one pilots). He also loves running outside and cooking. Luca will be three and a half at the time of the wedding.
