We're getting married!

We met through mutual friends at a weekly board game group. Both of us love to play board games with friends and would meet every Tuesday to enjoy drinks, conversation, and great food. One Tuesday night, Wesley found out Lori was interested in trying snowboarding, numbers were traded and (with a little push from some mutual friends) Wesley asked Lori on a date. On the first date, instead of flowers, Wesley brought Lori an expansion to the first board game she'd purchased. That's how she knew that he is her perfect match. On Tuesday August 27, 2019 after months of planning, Wesley decided to ask an important question. Friends helped talk Lori into attending a game night after a long day at work. Little did she know that Wesley had invited close friends and set up a surprise. That night our friends "chose" a game to play for the night, Rise of Augustus, a game where you pull tokens from a bag to gain points. Wesley had worked with our friends to set the game up for a special moment. After a few bloopers, it was Wesley's turn. Only instead of pulling a game piece, when he reached into the bag, he pulled out a beautiful ring! He asked, and she said "Yes! Finally!"
