It's opening night for The Kincaid's at the beautiful Maxwell House estate-- built in 1928 for the sole purpose of lavish parties! Make the original owners proud and gussy up in a red carpet styled look from the Old Hollywood era. We lovingly ask that you refrain from wearing our wedding/ wedding party colors which are: white, black, and burgundy. Instead, wear your favorite pop of Autumnal colors or fun vintage prints! What's the "vibe"?

Answer

We have carefully crafted an evening full of love. Love for each other & love for all of our most favorite, supportive, and important people in our lives. We are setting the tone, in this election year, for a fun filled evening of inclusivity. This will be a multi-denominational, LGBTQIA+, & BIPOC, friendly event where judgement and bigotry will not be tolerated. Leave the politics at the door, please.

Are children allowed?

Answer

So many babies this year! YAY! We are so excited for all of our friends and family's growing families. Truly, it is a wonderful milestone for you all! We cannot wait to spoil them and be the best "Auntie and Uncle". Although we love your little ones (here and on the way), we have made the decision for our milestone to be a fun evening out for adults so that everyone can relax and enjoy the happy occasion. This will be an adults-only affair. Thank you for understanding our decision.

I am traveling from out of state &/or I can't attend if my child cannot come, what should I do?

So happy you asked! While you will be missed on our special day, we completely understand and respect your decision. However, we've done a little thinking ahead and there are options! There is a local childcare service called "Jovie" that have screened & trusted sitters for families on vacation or attending special events. Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a plus one to everyone. Please limit attendance to only those listed on your invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:00pm to enjoy the pre-ceremony music and give yourself time to find a seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. No late arrivals will be granted entry.

Is there parking available?

Yes! There is a private, free parking lot across from The Maxwell House for those who will be driving to the venue.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, in all places the main events will occur and for restrooms sake.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held in the outdoor courtyard and our reception will be inside the estate.

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Kindly, no. This is an unplugged ceremony.

Will there be food and drink?

Oh boy, will there! Please be ready to enjoy lots of tasty food, snacks, & treats. There will be an open bar and non-alcoholic mocktail options on the menu.

We love/hate that for you and we got you! Vegan, vegetarian, and allergen friendly meals will be available upon request.

We recognize the majority of our invited guests are traveling from out of state so, we have registered for digitally purchased experiences, monetary gifts for our honeymoon/future, and welcome any handmade items from our talented artist friends. Please check out our registry tab!
