Bert Mooney Airport - Butte Montana (BTM)

There are 4 options for flying into Montana: 1. The closest airport is Bert Mooney (BTM) in Butte. This airport is about a 30 minute drive from Anaconda and usually the most expensive. However, sometimes you can find a good deal!

Missoula International Airport (MSO) - Missoula, MT

3. If you are thinking of traveling to Glacier National Park during your stay, Missoula (MSO) may be your best bet! Also about an 1 and 1/2 hours from Anaconda and usually the most expensive but I always keep it on the list because it sometimes has a good deal.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) - Belgrade, Montana

2. If you are planning on visiting Yellowstone National Park during your stay the best airport would be Bozeman (BZN). This is about an 1 1/2 hour drive from Anaconda, but the airport Scott and I usually find the best prices at when flying home.

Helena Regional Airport (HLN) - Helena, Montana

4. Finally, if you want to see the glory that is Montana's state capital (or maybe save $$) consider flying into Helena (HLN) Airport. It is also 1 and 1/2 hours from Anaconda and comes in a close second for "cheap" flights to Montana after Bozeman.

We highly recommend that if you are coming from out of town you rent a car for your stay in Montana. Car rentals here are relatively cheap compared to other places. And although Montanans these days don't ride horses everywhere, we have not embraced the newfangled car ridesharing services (Uber, Lyft, or even taxis) that city-slickers may be accustomed to.

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort

If you are looking for more upscale lodging Fairmont is your place. The hotel provides free access to hot pools warmed by geothermal activity in the area. There is also a restaurant, bar, and restaurant located at the hotel. However, the hotel itself is approximately 15 minutes outside of Anaconda and approximately 45 minutes from our venue.

This is a more 'rustic option' for out-of-town travelers. A bar and restaurant are attached to the hotel and it is right next to Georgetown Lake. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Anaconda, 15 minutes from Philipsburg, and 5 minutes from our venue. The hotel does not have a website but you can call for reservations.

Brown Derby Inn

Even more rustic lodging option also situated close to Georgetown Lake. No wifi or television. There is a restaurant attached to the inn. Hotel is approximately 15 minutes from Anaconda, 15 minutes for Philipsburg, and 5 minutes from our venue.

Classic motel option for out-of-town travelers. Centrally located in Anaconda. Approximate 20 minute drive from our venue.

Another classic motel option for out-of-town travelers. It is also located in Anaconda and approximately 20 minutes from our venue.

In addition to the lodging options listed above there are a number of bed and breakfasts and Airbnb options in Anaconda, Philipsburg, and around Georgetown Lake. Note that options in Anaconda and Philipsburg are equidistant from our venue and will generally require 20 minutes of travel.
