Bride
Joanna is loving, accepting of all, and ready to be your friend. She’s usually pregnant (except for right now) and provides the most love for our two sons Teddy and Stacy. Joanna is so creative and I love that about her. We have built many things together along the way. Her attention to detail often means the gifts that you get from her, that you probably really love, she feels terrible about and has spent most the night prior to, panicking about whether or not you’re going to actually love it or just like it. Joanna genuinely cares about the people in her life and wants to endlessly express this to each and everyone. She can write and express her emotions so beautifully that it is very possible I may of been swindled into this relationship, given her past experience in marketing and sales. Like, she initiated the first hangout, asked me to go skate a parking lot with her. I felt that was very poetic, because I love hanging in parking lots. I think she had good feelers out for what I’d like. When she rests her hand on my leg, I am confident that she is doing so because she loves me, and not because she wants me to get up to get her something from the kitchen. I hope that she means to the world what she means to me.
Loren Myers
Groom
Loren is hardworking, kind, and funny. If you saw him around, he would most likely be helping someone in need, running up a canyon, or desperately looking for a toilet. The real reason he asked Joanna to marry him was for her excellent health benefits, to treat his undiagnosed IBS. He’s an all around great guy and loves his family from the bottom of his heart. His family is so lucky to have a wholesome, faithful, and fun man to lead them.
Teddy Myers
Ring Bearer
We are honored to have our son Teddy be a part of our day! He is one of the two lights of our lives and it means so much to us to have him join us down the aisle. Teddy is bold, daring, and full of joy. He’s always jumping off of something, pointing out huge tractors, or riding his bike down something scary. He tells us his middle name is “Sweetie” because he is so sweet.
Annabelle Bartoli
Flower Girl
We are so excited for our beautiful niece, Annabelle, to be our flower girl! She’s sweet and smart and we love her so much. She is an incredible artist and always wins at hide and seek, just two of her many talents. We adore her and it will be so fun to have her join us on our special day.
Jon Myers
Officiant
We are excited for Loren’s dad, Jon, to lead us in committing our love to each other. He has gotten to know us well as a couple over the past year as we are living under the same roof. We wouldn’t be getting through the year of Loren pursuing school without the support of him and Loren’s mom, Shelly. Jon is charismatic, charming and walks with a pep in his step, until Louise, our beautiful German Shepherd pup, gets in the way and almost breaks his knee. He’s got lots of great ideas about life, loves the Grateful Dead, and plays a mean bass guitar.
