Our story began on Match.Com on December 8th of 2013. Love is not hard to find. We are born to love and be loved. The reality is… will love last? Long lasting love is truly not found on a website, a public place, but a place where two worlds come together. How does a Farmer's world come together in a Fast-moving Real Estate world? We had lost hope in finding love. In our story God brought us together. The first day we met we were both cancelling our memberships on Match.com. We have never stopped talking or seeing each other since the day we met (except during covid of course). We got engaged in 2017 and although we should have gotten married soon after, our everyday lives and what surrounded us took preference. From deployments, to moving to the passing of our fathers. We could no longer put becoming husband and wife on hold. Most people's love is tested in many other ways unknown to them or circumstantial. We made a commitment to Jesus to be celibate since June 2022. Our commitment has brought us to our knees, giving us knowledge we never knew we had and knowing where we failed in our previous relationships. We realized that being in love is more than touch and feel. It is loving one’s tears, imperfections and growth. We learned from our past relationships where we both could have been better. We enter marriage looking for perfect love, but God uses marriage to perfect our love. Marriage is not about happiness it's about holiness. It's not about being served - it's about serving. It's not about finding the right person -It's about becoming the right person. Our marriage is not just about a relationship, it's a ministry. Ephesians 5 isn't just about roles it's about reflection. It is our time, and we said yes to coming together as husband and wife. In December of 2025 it will be 12 years. ~ Will you join us in our Forever & becoming One ~
