Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel in Clayton, NY on Saturday 9/26/2026. See the Travel Page for more information on location, website, how to get there, where to stay, etc. We ask that guests be seated for the ceremony by 1:00 pm. Cocktail hour starts at 5pm and reception starts at 6pm. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, Cocktail hour is indoor-outdoor and reception will be indoors in the ballroom.

Our dress code is Cocktail Attire, with a New England Coastal vibe! Cocktail attire is polished and celebratory, but not overly formal. For women: cocktail dresses, elegant midi-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or chic separates. For men: suits or sport coats with dress shirts; ties are optional. Given our setting, we recommend dressy yet comfortable footwear. Important Note: Remember that our ceremony will be outside, on the river. Late September in New York can range from the 60s to 80s, so bring a light jacket or sweater in case it gets chilly. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting and and cocktail hour will be indoor-outdoor. The reception will be indoors in the ballroom.

How do I get there and get around?How do I get there and get around?

Answer

If you are flying in from out of town, we recommend that you fly into Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). The venue is a 1.5 hour drive from Syracuse, so you will likely need to rent a vehicle. However, 1000 Island Taxi does offer airport pick up and drop-off if need be. See Travel page for more info. Once in town, there are a couple options for transportation, including 1000 Island Taxi or The Chug Wagon, which takes donations only. There is limited uber presence due to the scenic nature of the 1000 Islands Region. See Travel Page for contact information.

Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Watertown-Thousand Islands can be reserved online or by phone call. Holiday Inn has a unique link to use to book under our room block (see Travel page for more info). Bonnie Castle Resort and Marina you must reserve via PHONE CALL ONLY.

We adore our friends’ and family’s children! However, due to space and planning considerations, we’re unable to accommodate children beyond those included in the wedding party. Thank you so much for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
