Welcome to our Covid wedding! That's right, even in these crazy times we have decided to tie the knot!

Rules of Engagement Fast-forward 4 years to March 2017, our first time spending time together, outside of work, was the live action premier of Beauty and the Beast. This was supposed to be the entire office meeting up to see the movie but wound up only being Alyssa, our friend Hanna and me. The fact that I even wound up going is a miracle as at the time I had a policy of not hanging out with co-workers outside of work. Thank goodness Alyssa wouldn’t take no for an answer and some how convinced me to show up that evening. It was the start of our friendship and a journey to finding the person I would decide to spend the rest of my life with. Friendship Years After Alyssa convinced me to hang out with her outside of work we quickly became close friends, first with our love of board games. Alyssa introduced me to more serious strategy board games, such as Viticulture (a game of growing and producing wine) and quickly showed me that I was not up to snuff and in a whole new ball game from Monopoly or Settlers of Catan. We also fell in love over our love of exceptional food and cocktails. A Rocky Start (a Series of Unfortunate Events) Next up our dating which, took off to a rocky start. The beginning of which I tend to want to skim over, as it was more a series of unfortunate events. Not to say our dating always went horrible, the dates at the beginning just didn’t typically go how I planned them and required me being on my toes. Our dates were rocky until we decided to adopt our first puppy together, Poseidon. Poseidon helped us to reset and continue to grow together. Now, since about August, we have a new addition to our family Persephone! Happy Ever After It’s hard for me to determine exactly when I decided I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Alyssa as our life fell into a groove and I fell more and more in love with her with each passing day. Needless to say I am beyond excited to start this new chapter of our lives.
