From the airport you can get easily to the city centre by public transport. You can take bus No. 119 which takes you to Nadrazi Veleslavin station from where you take the subway to city centre (take appx. 20 min and costs 1,4USD/32 CZK. Or you can take Airport express bus which runs to Hlavni nadrazi station (main railway station), which is in the city centre (duration 45 min and costs 2,6USD/60 CZK). Or just take Uber:)

Tickets for public transportation in Prague
Tickets can be purchased: - In information centers and selling points at most of the metro stations - In yellow ticket vending machines at metro stations and some surface transit stops - In newspaper shops in the whole area of Prague - NEW In the mobile application PID Lítačka (paid by credit/debit card, Masterpass or Apple Pay, ticket needs to be activated before your travel) - NEW Inside every tram (only by contactless credit/debit card) IMPORTANT: Tickets needs to be validated (stamped by putting inside a yellow box) when getting on the vehicle or inside the metro/train station for the first time!) Traveling around Czech Republic by train or bus
Trains and buses are very comfortable and cheap way how to travel within Czech Republic or to nearby countries (you can get to Vienna or to Berlin in 4hrs, Dresden in less than 2hrs,...).
