Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Smart casual. Flip flops are okay, too. But, remember, it's hot, so dress accordingly. Please no jeans or boardshorts!

Question

Are there any covid-19 restrictions or travel requirements?

Answer

PLEASE READ BELOW ABOUT SCHEDULING RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS WHILE IN TAMARINDO AS YOU WILL NEED A NEGATIVE TEST WITHIN 1 CALENDAR DAY OF YOUR FLIGHT TO GET BACK INTO THE UNITED STATES. COVID-19 Travel Requirements: Entry into Costa Rica: Starting April 1st, Costa Rica is eliminating the need to fill out a health pass form for all foreign travelers (vaccinated or non-vaccinated). Travel insurance is not required. No quarantine is required upon arrival. While in Costa Rica: Mandatory mask use and temperature checks remain in force before entering commercial establishments or activities. Proof of vax not required. If you get COVID-19 while in Costa Rica, you must quarantine for 7 days (even if you test negative during this time) and must pay for your own lodging. Entry back into the United States: All airline passengers to the US ages 2 years+, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, must provide a negative COVID-19 Antigen test taken within one calendar day of travel. At-home tests are NOT acceptable. Where to get Rapid Antigen tests (for US travelers) or PCR tests (if required by your country) in Tamarindo: • We have received a group rate of $60 per person (just mention you are with the Gausepohl wedding to get this rate). You can email CRCOVIDTEST@GMAIL.COM to arrange for this team to meet you at your hotel or AirBNB to conduct a test the day before you depart. • If you are staying at the Tamarindo Diria Hotel, you can arrange for an Antigen test for $70 USD (or PCR for $120 if needed) by emailing pruebacovidtamarindo@gmail.com (cc' hola@bioanalitica.net) at least 5 days in advance. • Hospital Metropolitano: PCR and antigen available. Whatsapp +506 8465 7484 to make your appointment. Entry back into other countries: Please check your country's travel requirements. The wedding and all activities will take place outdoors to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19. Travel insurance is no longer required but is highly recommended.
