Delay Public Beach is only 12 minute walk from the Colony Hotel, and about a X minute walk from the Hyatt, but there is also metered parking. It's a vibrant beach with lots of fun bars along the coastline--check out Boston's or Sandbar!
Delay Yacht Cruises offers 2-hour sightseeing trips Tuesday through Sunday at 10:30am & 1:30pm. It's a beautiful way to experience the Delray waterways and better yet - the docks are a 5 minute walk from the hotel! Pricing $38 for regular admission, $35 for seniors & children.
There is so much to do just off of Atlantic Avenue but if you want to explore greater Delay, Morikami is 15-minute drive and its traditional Japanese villas and gardens worth the trip. The park is named after George Morikami--a native of Miyazu, Japan and a member of the farming Yamato Colony, a group who aimed to revolutionize Florida crops in 1904 with a lasting legacy on the local area.
