Hello Friends and Family, After about 1,000 years we have finally chosen a venue and date for our wedding! We are so so excited that we will be getting married in Croatia in April 2024. Besides flying to eastern Europe to celebrate with us, we hope you will use this opportunity to see different parts of Europe that you have never been to before. We know that this is a big ask and we want it to be very clear that while we would love to celebrate with you there, we totally understand if it doesn’t work out. Some things to consider: Venue is San Canzian - in the Northern part of Croatia about two hours from Venice which is the easiest place to fly into Wedding is April 12 but we will have the venue the 10th-13th Current Itinerary: Arrive Wed April 10 - Welcome Party (Local Tours offered) Thursday April 11 - Relax by the pool, see the countryside, possibly go to the beach. (Local tours offered) Friday April 12 - WEDDING DAY! Costs: Outside of travel, the hotel cost is $1,000 for the 3 days. Travel: We are looking into shuttles/buses but rental cars out of Venice are less than $100 / day. Please let us know by December 1, 2023 if you think you will be able to come! More information to come but we love you all and hope that you will be able to join us on this crazy adventure! Much love, Zoe & Chris
We always wondered which was worse, meeting on tinder or meeting in Alabama. The jury is still out, but with a strong desire to get back to the northeast, we made it out!
So it may have taken us a little bit, are you shocked? On a 10/10 type of day, Zoe rallied through another overnight shift and snoozed on the car ride, only to be woken by a coffee stop (priorities). We hiked a small mountain where Chris was attempting to propose while trying to get Dunkin in the right spot. Some would say he was more focused on Dunkin than Zoe! She knew something seemed out of place when he brought snacks and hot toddies. The rest of the weekend was filled with some of our favorite stops at breweries, a pancake house (again, are you shocked), and the Mt. Washington Hotel. Clearly someone from New Hampshire planned all of this.
