Best Man
Jamie has a poster of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hanging above his bed. We know this because Jamie and Will lived in the same house for 18+ years. He's Will's brother if you didn't guess.
Matron of Honor
Emily has known Rhia since the day she was born. They enjoy intelligent poop jokes, weird infomercials, and those neon business signs with changed meanings due to burnt out bulbs... You know the ones.
Maid of Honor
Angeline and Emily met at Texas State University. They are sisters of Alpha Xi Delta, but became close through their involvement in student government. They share similar senses of humor, except when it comes to puns. She'll be giving a toast at the wedding... for butter or worse.
Groomsman
David and Will met in 8th grade. He's got a smooth jump shot, and, from what Will has been told, a passable curve ball; though Will can't verify that last statement, since he never attended any of their high school's baseball games.
Groomsman
Josh and Will met as potluck roommates at Texas State. Will thought Josh was 40 at the time. Turns out he's younger than Will.
Bridesmaid
Candice is Emily's "Little Sister" from their sorority days. They love dancing, distillery/brewery tours (which include tastings), and going to the beach together to boogie board for hours (and hours) while trying to catch the "perfect wave." Candice also has an odd obsession with hippos.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Emily met freshman year in college through some mutual friends. Shannon is great at accents and character creations. Even though she can be quiet at first, when she opens up, she can keep an entire room laughing all evening. When you see her, ask her about "Janice."
Groomsman
Aaron and Will met in 9th grade. They were the only two guys on the yearbook staff. They thought that might be advantageous to their love lives. It wasn't.
Bridesman
Hugo and Emily met while working tech support for Apple back in 2010. Even though Hugo lived in California and Emily lived in Texas, it only took a couple of jokes in the Apple training group chat for them to become fast friends. They enjoy solving puzzles and problems of all kinds (literally and figuratively), and discussing the accuracy of personality tests.
Groomswoman
We could tell you that Lauren and Will are high school friends; and the "high school" part of that statement is accurate, but Lauren and Will actually became friends through Nathan, who is also a groomsman. She enjoys camping, hiking, and being outdoors; and Will enjoys burritos, so naturally they're good friends.
Bridesmaid
Robbye and Emily were pledge sisters and shared a passion for learning the history of all things Alpha Xi Delta (nerds). They enjoy food of all kinds, nutmeg in Christmas drinks, and stories about awkward and/or ironic situations.
Groomsman
Nathan and Will met in high school. He can't tell the difference between Ranch and Blue Cheese dressing.
Groomsman
Ali and Will became friends in high school. He's got an entrepreneurial spirit, and an encyclopedic knowledge of sports statistics, but to Will he'll always be the guy who, blinded by hubris, failed to live up to the promise of devouring three Chipotle burritos in a span of 30 minutes.
Bridesmaid
Linnette and Emily met in high school. They were members of the Southern Stars Dance/Drill team (Go Stars, Go!), and still enjoy creating choreography together. Linnette and Emily love dancing, crazy straws, turbo pina coladas, and iconic 80s movies. They also like to debate who is cuter: John Cusack or Paul Rudd. It's obviously the latter.
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Emily were P.I.C.s (partners in crime) growing up. Dani was always the bad influence, though. Never Emily... Ever. And the internet never lies. They fought over who got to be which Disney princess, liked camping in the mountains, and loved sleepovers, playing "Mermaids" in swimming pools or building Barbie worlds 365 days a year.
Groomsman
Mike and Will met in college. He was the co-founder of the organization, the Loud Crowd, where Emily and Will first met. They share a passion for comic book movies and sports; Mike loves when J.J. Watt makes the home runs at the basketball matches.
Officiant
Joe and Emily met during her freshman year in college through mutual friends. Joe has always been like a "Big Brother" to Emily, and kept her under his wing at Texas State (which was great for keeping the creeps away), so it's only natural that he is now officiating her wedding. Joe is quite the character, which is one of the reasons why Shannon (one of the bridesmaids) married him. He tells great stories and funny jokes - if you can understand his Southern accent.
