Louisville is about one hour and forty-five-minute drive from Owensboro. This is a larger airport in the area & you'll be flying into the bourbon capital. One thing of note, Louisville is in Eastern Standard Time & Owensboro is in Central Standard Time zone. This means you'll gain an hour on your drive to Owensboro, but be careful planning your drive back because you will lose one.

Evansville's airport is about a forty-five-minute drive to Owensboro. It sits right across the bridge and is a smaller airport in the area.

Nashville's airport is about a two-hour drive to Owensboro. This is a larger airport in the area & you'll be flying into the Music City capital of the world - yeehaw. This is also where Holly & Josh met. If you are looking to extend your trip, Nashville is the place to do it!
