Dorothy Lane Market
DLM has a special place in our hearts. This is where we spend many Sunday mornings after group runs, enjoying delicious bagels, pastries, and (sometimes) coffee. There is another location in Washington Township that serves pizza. 6177 Far Hills Ave, Washington Township, OH 45459
Carillon Histroical Park
Sitting alongside the Great Miami River is a tall, beautiful bell tower. There is also a museum that tells of Dayton's history and many of the great things and people to come from this city. Kids can enjoy a train ride around the park, too. Next to the museum is Carillon Brewing Company, where meals are served by costumed servers. We had a blast at dinner here in 2020.
Cox Arboretum Metropark
We've enjoyed many walks here. This park is especially gorgeous when the flowers start blooming.
Sugarcreek Metropark
This park—along with nearby Bill Yeck Park—are staples for us when we want to run on some trails. The trails here are great for a gentle hike as well!
