Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We respectfully request that all guests please arrive at least twenty minutes prior to the ceremony. Our ceremony begins at 4:30 pm.

Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Answer

YellowBird Bus Co. is providing us with two trips prior to the ceremony and two trips post-reception back to the Hampton Inn & Suites Warrington Horsham. The first bus will leave the hotel by 3:15 pm and return by 3:45 pm and will leave once more once the bus is full to take guests over for the ceremony. The bus will then return to Fonthill Castle at 10:00 pm and provide two trips back to the Hampton Inn Warrington Horsham. For those that do not make the shuttle bus, we are working on an Uber/Lyft code to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves for the evening and return safely back to the hotel. Are kids welcome?

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

What should I wear?

Answer

We want our guests to have the opportunity to dress to the nines so we have made our special day a Black Tie affair. However, our priority is our loved ones' presence so please feel free to come as you are in whatever makes you able to dance the night away with us. Note: If you want the bride's opinion on shoes, she recommends that if you want to wear heels, make them a block or add stiletto caps as the property is uneven in some parts and the ceremony is in the grass. We don't want anyone breaking an ankle!

Where am I sitting?

Apparently, we couldn't add our seating chart to the website as planned. So please find your seat via our mirror with each seating card located near the reception tent.

Where can we stay near the venue?

Answer

We have a room block with a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn Warrington. The online room block has now closed. To receive the discounted rate, you will need to call the hotel directly, and state that you are with the Logan-Reese Block. If the hotel has availability, they will book you at our discounted rate. The hotel is very close to selling out, alternative stays have been listed under our travel section.

Can I bring a date?

We have worked really hard to create an intimate celebration with all of our loved ones. If your Invitation states "Guest" please feel free to bring a plus one. If you have any questions feel free to contact us at loganreesewedding@gmail.com

Is any part of your day outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony, weather permitting, will be outdoors. Our cocktail hour spills in and out of the castle onto the grounds. Otherwise, our reception is in a temperature-controlled tent!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a large parking lot on the grounds of Fonthill. Vehicles may also be left in the lot overnight in case plans change and you need to take alternate transportation back to wherever you're staying! We would like to stress that we have alternative transportation options being offered for the end of the night so that we can all enjoy the evening safely. We urge guests to take advantage of them, if necessary!

If I am parking at the venue, what entrance should I use?

Answer

All guests must use the Swamp Road entrance when parking and arriving at Fonthill. Please do not attempt to use the East Court Street Entrance (aka the main tree-lined drive). If you are on East Court Street, you will need to continue down the road and make a left onto Swamp Road.
