We were hoping Austin FC would have a home game the Saturday after the wedding, but alas, Austin will play away at Real Salt Lake with an 8:30pm kickoff. We will share details on a watch party plan somewhere in town with food and drinks. More on that soon.

Have a second, and want to unwind? Take a class at Meggie’s home away from home. With a warm and inviting tone, this space offers education and insight to any and all join! Her favorite spot is 10:30 AM on Saturday morning. You just might catch her there after Friday’s festivities *wink wink*!

See a show at The VORTEX! One of Austin’s longest-standing treasures in the theatre world. Don’t have time to indulge in a show? Go and enjoy amazing cocktails and drinks at their bar, and grab a bite to eat at Patrizi’s Italian food truck in the garden! Perfect for a long stay or a short pop by.
OMG Squee
One of our favorite guilty pleasures — Meggie loves the donuts, Logan loves the soft-serve, but they're best bought in pairs for easy shares! Enjoy mochi donuts, house-made soft serve, and milk and fruit teas tucked away in East Austin. The best time to go is in the morning, before they sell out of their donuts.
Taqueria Fenix
Taqueria Fenix is our favorite Sunday morning bike ride treat. Good tacos are a must-have when visiting Austin, and Taqueria Fenix delivers not just good, but great tacos. They have burritos for our Californians, breakfast tacos are served all day, and their mole and poblano chicken are Meggie's go-to. Get an agua fresca to cool off and satisfy your taco craving.
Walk, Jog, or Bike the Town Lake Trails
Splitting Austin is Town Lake (or Lady Bird Lake), our local branch of the Lower Colorado River system. Enjoy a lakeside stroll along over 10 miles of Hike and Bike Trails through downtown Austin.
Austin Central Library
Browse the architectural phenomenon that is the Austin Central Library. Grab a coffee on the ground floor and climb through the levels of activities and knowledge until you reach the rooftop garden with great views of the lake and surrounding parks.
