The wedding celebration of Logan and Kaylee

We went on vacation in August of 2021 to spend some time with Kaylee's family in Little Elm, Texas. Before leaving, Logan had set up a tour for the Dallas Arboretum and a surprise proposal photoshoot through a company called The Heart Bandits. Kaylee had her suspicions about Logan's plan to propose, but she was unsure of the exact moment that he would do so. We walked throughout the garden and stopped at different locations to have our pictures taken. When we arrived at Myrtle Crappe, a beautiful walkway shaded by a canopy of trees, the photographer began to take more pictures of us. Logan had previously planned for this to be the location where he would pop the question. Kaylee mentioned how much she liked the photographer and what a great job she was doing. Logan got down on one knee as he looked over at Kaylee and asked, "Do you know what else is great? Kaylee was surprised and in shock that this was finally happening, but of course, she said, "YES!" After thanking and saying goodbye to the photographer, we headed over to a restaurant called Smoky Rose, where we celebrated before the wedding planning began!!
