We met originally at 7 years old on the same soccer team with Logan's mom being our coach! Believe it or not we were sat right in front of each other for the team picture. Fast forward to 6th grade, and we were in the same classes, remembering each other from soccer years prior. We innocently dated for a short time and teachers teased us for this. We went to the middle school dance together and shared our first slow dance. Fun fact- we were each other's first kiss. Of course young love at that age does not last and we took a short break. Fast forward to junior year of high school, being in the same math class Kali would often "help" (do) Logan's math homework for him, until one day he texted Kali saying a simple "hello". Kali quickly responded that she hadn't gotten to the homework yet but he said he didn't want the homework, that he just wanted to talk... and the rest is history! Well actually, Logan asked Kali to be his girlfriend over chicken nuggets at Burger King- so that is when the rest is history! If you know us- chicken nuggets is both of our favorite. On a more serious note, we even made it through 4 years of living an hour away from each other during undergrad. We have been through and conquered many phases of life and growth spurts during our story thus far cheering each other on through every big moment, making each other laugh until we cry, and building a love that feels like home. Now, all these years later, we’re ready to begin our biggest adventure yet — marriage. We’ve grown from kids with a crush, to partners in life, to two people who can’t wait to say “I do", and having the pleasure of growing old together; looking forward to what else life has in store for us. We are so excited to share this celebration with all of our loved ones that have been with us through some, if not all, of the phases of our love story- because who would have thought the boy and girl who met at 7 years old would end up here, ready to promise forever?
