When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP kindly by April 17th please, so that we may inform our vendors how many will be attending.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You may either respond to our e-invite via email/facebook or RSVP here on our website. If neither of these means are suitable let us know and we can give you a relevant telephone number or address.

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should aim to arrive by 10:45 at the latest to have time to find your seat before the ceremony begins. If you're staying overnight we recommend you arrive sooner to get settled into your rooms.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You may get to the venue by car (carpooling can be arranged where necessary). Directions can be found using a sat nav or google maps with the venue address provided on our website. If print out directions are required please contact us and we can get them to you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the hotel. If necessary, carpooling can be arranged. For airport recommendations please see the 'Travel' tab of our website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? Is it free?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot outside the hotel where you can park free of charge.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors for ceremony and reception, photographs will be taken outdoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will take a group photograph outside the hotel and then the bridal party will be taking pictures at Coshocton Lake Park for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where drinks will be available. Alternatively, you may join the bridal party in going to Coshocton lake Park where there are scenic walks around the lake and a play park for the children. Following that, there will be the reception in the same hotel. For a more detailed outline of the day please visit the 'schedule' tab of our website.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It will be Spring time in Ohio, so we're hoping for a warm day of sunshine! However, we shall mainly be indoors, so not too much worry about if weather gets bad.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is formal for the ceremony and reception. Note for the ladies: one of my bridesmaids has a spare dress (size 10/12 UK) that would fit our red/white/blue theme, if you would like to borrow it please let me know!

What is your theme?

Answer

Red, white and blue. These colours match both of our nations flags and our favourite colours. Feel free to match along by wearing any of your favourite blue or red outfits!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are very welcome. If necessary, there is a grassy area at the back of the hotel where children can play. Alternatively, there is also a play park at Coshocton Lake Park and Hall Park (each 6 min drive away). Feel free to contact us for directions. We will also provide colouring pens + paper and bubbles for after the ceremony.

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Yes, during the reception there will be a catered meal served, and of course wedding cake! Soft drinks and champagne for the toast will be provided. Additionally, a bar will be available for those that would like to purchase any extra/alcoholic drinks.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we ask that any special food requirements be made known in plenty of time and we will be able to liaise with our caterers to attend to your requirements. You can let us know by emailing Todd71215@gmail.com

Will there be dancing/entertainment?

Answer

Yes, during the reception after the meal, cake, and speeches there will be music and dancing! For children's entertainment, bubbles and crayons for drawing will be available upon request.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer for the day. However, you may take photos during the reception if you would like. We encourage you to tag us in your postings or use the hashtag #mrandmrstodd2020 so that we can enjoy them too! If you'd rather not share them on social media we'd love you to share them with us via email!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

We have set aside about 60 rooms at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites where we will be getting married. Bookings can be made here with the code: TODD1 or you may tell them you're with the Todd/Dawson wedding and they will use one of the rooms we've set aside for you. When booking they will ask for your credit card details, but payment is only made once you check in so this helps in case flights are cancelled etc. Please book a minimum of a month before the wedding using the code to avoid disappointment.

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
