Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)

Located about 40 minutes from Diamante, Los Cabos International Airport serves both Cabo San Lucas, and San Jose del Cabo. Various airlines fly directly into SJD, or connect through major TX hubs, such as Houston and Dallas. We recommend looking into flights at least 6 months in advance for the best price.

Airport Shuttle Information

As Diamante is about 40 minutes from SJD Airport, we recommend booking a round-trip airport shuttle from the airport to your accommodations (if you are not booking a rental car). We highly recommend Allways Cabo and use them for every Cabo trip! They offer private shuttles for as many as 16 people, and offer stops at the grocery store for an additional fee. Rental Cars at SJD Airport

If you prefer to have a car while in Cabo, Los Cabos Airport offers various major name car rentals, such as Alamo, Enterprise, etc. For more information and pricing, please visit your preferred rental car company's website. Keep in mind, driving in Cabo is very different from driving in the US. If you have not driven a car in Mexico before, we highly recommend utilizing airport shuttles and taxis throughout your time in Cabo.

Taxis in Cabo

For getting around Cabo, we recommend using a taxi. Most hotels and restaurants are happy to call one for you, as all taxis are part of one large management group. Taxis ONLY TAKE CASH, and typically run anywhere from $5-$15 per person, depending on route. We do not recommend using Uber in Cabo at this time.
