Domitille and Logan met in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while attending LSU Law School. They first laid eyes on each other in Professor Goring’s Common Law Property class, where Logan immediately knew Domitille was someone special. After the lecture, he followed her to the library and, in many ways, he’s been following her ever since. Picnics outside the law school, Friday night events, and day trips to the mall soon turned into a blossoming friendship. That friendship became something more on November 10th, during a nighttime adventure through the French Quarter in New Orleans. Inside a frozen yogurt shop, they could no longer hide their feelings and walked out hand in hand for the world to see. They finished the semester together, with Domitille earning both her J.D. and LL.M., and summer brought the next chapter in their story, complete with a ring and two cats. While Logan was in Dallas for internships (and secretly shopping for a diamond), Domitille remained in Baton Rouge, caring for their beloved cats, Mariko and Ponyo. By fall, the ring was ready, and the couple prepared for a Christmas trip to France. They arrived at Charles de Gaulle Airport in December and embraced the magic of the holiday season. Midway through the trip, Logan asked for Domitille’s hand in marriage in French. On December 27th, after dinner with her parents at Auberge du Pont de Rethondes, the couple stepped outside to admire a fountain. When Domitille turned around, Logan was on one knee. She said “yes,” of course. They returned to the United States, where Logan completed law school and both passed the Texas Bar Exam. Today, they serve as prosecutors at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, building a life together with Mariko and Ponyo, and eagerly preparing to begin this next chapter as husband and wife. - Domitille et Logan se sont rencontrés à Baton Rouge, en Louisiane, pendant leurs études de droit à LSU. Entre pique-niques devant la fac, soirées du vendredi et petites escapades, une belle amitié est née. Elle s’est transformée en romance le 10 novembre, lors d’une soirée dans une boutique de yaourt glacé, dans le Vieux Carré de La Nouvelle-Orléans. Ils ont terminé l'année ensemble, Domitille obtenant à la fois son J.D. et son LL.M. L’été a ensuite marqué un nouveau chapitre de leur histoire, avec une bague en préparation et l’arrivée de deux chats. Pendant que Logan était à Dallas pour ses stages (et choisissait secrètement une bague), Domitille est restée à Baton Rouge avec leurs chats adorés, Mariko et Ponyo. À l’automne, la bague était prête et ils ont organisé un voyage de Noël en France. Arrivés à l’aéroport Charles de Gaulle en décembre, ils ont pleinement profité de la magie des fêtes avec toute la famille. Au cours du séjour, Logan a demandé la main de Domitille, en français. Le 27 décembre, après un dîner avec ses parents à l’Auberge du Pont de Rethondes, ils sont sortis prendre l’air près de l'étang. Lorsque Domitille s’est retournée, Logan était à genoux. Elle a bien sûr dit « oui »! De retour aux États-Unis, Logan a terminé ses études de droit et tous deux ont réussi l’examen du barreau du Texas. Aujourd’hui, ils sont procureurs au bureau du procureur du comté de Collin, construisant leur vie ensemble avec Mariko et Ponyo, et se réjouissant de commencer ce nouveau chapitre en tant que mari et femme.
