In the beginning of 2015, Codiee and I both attended Muskegon Community College. Codiee was working at getting his degree in Criminal Justice, as I was taking general classes before entering a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. During a winter semester, we happened to be in the same sociology class together, and even ended up sitting right next to each other. Side note: I did not have the pre-reqrequisites to take the class, but the professor kindly let me skip them simply due to having good grades. To this day, I truly believe that was fate bringing us together. During the semester, we had several group projects that we worked on together. If someone said or did something funny, I vividly remember us both looking at each other and smiling. On the very last day of class, Codiee worked up the courage to ask me to go get coffee with him. We drove down to Grand Haven, got coffee, went for a short walk and shared stories about our lives. I'm not over exaggerating when I say we have been inseparable ever since. Codiee also blessed me with a sweet little girl who I already consider to be my daughter, and I’m so excited to be her bonus-momma. We are truly marrying each other as best friends and we are ecstatic to see what our future brings as a married couple!
