The wedding is on August 18th, 2027 at Borgo Divino located right outside Florence, Italy. Wedding events will begin August 17th through August 19th. Check-out will be the morning of August 20th.
Please soft RSVP by November 31st 2026 so we can get an idea of who is coming. This will help us finalize all the details and ensure everyone has an amazing experience. If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly ~ You will be missed!
The bride and groom will coordinate payment and bookings for venue accommodation. No further booking is required by guests. We have reserved Borgo Divino for 3 nights, $300 per guest. If you choose to stay on-site, all rooms will be assigned by the bride and groom. Got a special request? Don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate you! While most guests may choose this convenient option you are welcome to book separate accommodations than what is listed here, but please keep transportation in mind. If you plan to attend but choose to book somewhere seperate, please contact Morgan and Kyle directly ASAP.
For guests, meals will be provided during the main events: Welcome dinner, wedding day meal, the daytime pool party, and the evening pasta party. For those staying on-site, please note that a catered breakfast will be provided Wednesday (8/18) and Thursday (8/19). For those seeking more variety, Borgo Divino's restaurant is open from 12:30pm-2:30pm & 7:30pm-10:00pm to our guests for snacks/lunch/dinner foods offering a selection of fresh, locally sourced dishes. (Full Bar, Table Service, Accepts CC)
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only (21+) celebration due to the intimate nature of our destination wedding. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! Due to the intimate nature of our wedding and limited space at our destination venue, we are only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation.
If you are traveling from the U.S. we suggest arriving in Italy a few days early to adjust to the time zone (+6 hours from EST time). See the "Schedule" tab for the timeline of events. If you are staying at Borgo Divino for your accommodation, check in is at 3pm. Check out of Borgo Divino is on Friday August 20th at 10am.
Absolutely, please notate any dietary restrictions in your RSVP which will be sent closer to the wedding date.
Yes, there is ample on-site parking for all guests.
No. We will be providing onsite accommodations for all guests, so transportation to and from the wedding events will not be provided for those choosing to stay off-site. Although we would love for you to stay with us, if you choose to stay offsite or book separate accommodations, we kindly ask that you arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding events.
Car rental (Recommended): Renting a car is a great, affordable option if you want flexibility to explore Tuscany before, during or after your stay. There is on-site parking for our guests at Borgo Divino. IMPORTANT: If renting a car you need a international driving permit. While the rental desk might not always ask to see your IDP, it is required by law. You can get this online for $30 from AAA. For the best prices on car rentals, we suggest booking in advance online. There are a handful of low-cost car rental companies in Italy, but they’re infamous for last-minute fees and add on costs, especially if anything happens to the car. Your best bet is to stick with one of the major car rental companies (Hertz, Avis, etc.). Keep in mind that manual transmission is the default in Italy, so make sure you specify/select automatic if you aren’t comfortable driving manual. Similar to the U.S., Italians drive on the right side of the road, steering wheel is on the left site. Taxi/Private transfer: Taxis and private car services are available at Florence Airport and can take you directly to the villa. Taxis charge by the meter for destinations outside the city center. Expect the fare to Borgo Divino to be roughly around €40–€50 one way. There is an official taxi rank right outside the arrivals terminal, if you choose to not book a taxi ahead of your arrival. You can also download taxi apps (AppTaxi, ItTaxi) as rideshare is limited. Shuttle services (larger groups): Since Borgo Divino is in a rural area outside Florence, there isn’t a regular commercial shared airport bus that goes directly there. The main shuttle‑type options are pre‑booked private transfer. You pre‑book online, and the driver meets you in the airport arrivals area. Prices are fixed at booking and depend on group size and vehicle type. Some good options for shuttle services: - ConnectoTransfers (private transfer, various vehicle sizes) - MyTransfers (Private transfer booking service)
All main events will be outdoors - Wedding ceremony, cocktail hour/aperitivo, reception, and the welcome party.
-Confirm passport is current/renew passport if less than 6 months until expiration. -Make copies of all your documents before travel. -Let your credit/debit card companies know you’ll be traveling. -Make a plan for cell phone coverage if you plan to travel before or after the wedding. Reminder that our venue does have on-site wifi. -Pack EU power adapters or converters, portable chargers. -Download Google Translate and travel apps (Rome2Rio, FreeNow, Trenitalia, & Italo Treno). -Download WhatsApp for texting when abroad. (A lot of hotels, tours, and businesses use the app to communicate).
Daytime temperatures are expected to reach the high 80s to low 90s with cooler evening temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s. Lightweight clothing is advised during the day, with a light sweater or jacket for comfortable evenings.
