Neither Jenny, James or literally any person who knows them would have imagined their love story starting at the Central States Fairground, but there was obviously magic in the air at the Black Hills Stock Show. Although James' first impression of Jenny wasn't amazing (because of her social anxiety resting bitch face), a couple very tiny beers in a boot-shaped tasting cup and gentle prodding from his friends led him to giving her a second chance. It turns out, they had a lot in common and spent the rest of the beer tasting talking. They "shut down" the Stock Show's premier event -- the Flannel concert -- and spent the rest of the night eating late night pizza and listening to 90s music at the Cornford's house. Even after such a magical night, neither one was sure about this relationship having long-term potential. It was a major commitment to drive across 344 miles of boring prairie to go on a date. But as they each made a trip, it became clear they weren't just "trying it out," as some might say. --- We can't wait to bring our community together to celebrate how awesome we both are. xoxo
