Ryan Totman

Best Man

Ryan has known Jack since he was in preschool. The earliest memory they share is Jack stealing a hot wheel car that Ryan found in a box of girls toys. While it is unknown why Ryan was digging through the girls toys this memory started off a friendship that really grew when they became football teammates in Highschool. They have had their ups and downs and often times Jack wonders why Ryan calls him his friend, but there is no one Jack would rather be by his side.

Jonathan Byers

Groomsman

Jonathan and Jack put a whole new meaning to “friends forever”. Jonathan’s eldest brother and Jack eldest sister were friends growing up so the two boys became friends in the cradle. Jonathan’s first memory of Jack was that he was “crazy” and while he was not wrong by first grade they were partners in crime. Their favorite thing to do was to bake goldfish crackers on the hot jungle gym platforms after school. The two stayed together until high school when defected to the rival school across town and Jonathan stayed loyal to the school his brothers went to. Despite growing apart, the two remain friends and Jack can always count on Jonathan to bring out the best parts in him. Jonathan is truly a loyal friend.

Sam Van Dusen

Sam is Jack’s cousin and for a long time is greatest role model. The two became family when Sam’s mother married Jack’s uncle when the boys were about three. Growing up, Jack’s favorite thing to do was to spend time at his cousins house. Sam was the person Jack would go to for any advice he needed. In high school, the two only became closer when they became football teammates. They began working out together and Sam became Jack’s private chauffeur. Sam introduced Jack to country music and Jack still blames his reckless driving on his cousins influence to this day. The two have been through some crazy stories together and Jack knows he can count on his older cousin to always show him a fun and entertaining time.

Brett Speedy

When Jack first heard that his eldest sister Janna met her new boyfriend on a dating app he was pretty convinced it was not going to work out. Yet, two years later the two were tying the knot and Brett was a welcome member of the family. Jack first met Brett when Janna brought him to meet the family during their second date. When Brett did not instantly run away, he proved he was the one for Jack’s sister. Since then, Jack has enjoyed countless adventures with the couple and he is proud that he gets to call Brett his brother.

James Donnell

When Jack first met James, it was at a block party put on by Corban University. Jack was convince that James and Alex were under the influence of either alcohol or psychedelic mushrooms. He soon discovered that this was just Jame’s amazing personality. James became the man on campus that Jack would go to if he needed to talk or get away from his roommates or just hangout. The two became even closer when they went on a medical mission trip to Haiti together. For the last year, James and Alex have been living with Jack. The three often have deep theological or political discussions and while James and Alex probably often think about smothering Jack for not doing the dishes, they remain patient and always find a way to make Jack’s day better.

Alex Aardanvis

When Jack first met Alex he was performing an interpretive dance during a lip sync competition at a Block Party. Despite not mouthing a single word, Alex won the competition by a landslide. Alex and Jack became friends mostly through James and the three have been having a blast ever since. Every time Jack and Alex have a conversation, Alex stuns Jack with his matter-of-fact personality and hilarious antics. He is truly a great friend to have and never fails make memorable moments.

Kymberly Brand

Kym is Emily's older sister--although there were periods in their life in which they fought, the two are as close as possible now. Kym was always Emily's role model growing up, even if Emily didn't admit it. Kym is an excellent mother to her and Mike's daughter, Terra, and is always there for Emily, whether on Facebook messenger (haha) or in real life.

Lauren Woodworth

Lauren and Emily were paired together as roommates freshman year of college. They took similar majors (Lauren graduated with a kinesiology degree and Emily studies biomedical sciences) and bonded over all the college/life drama, working out (well if Emily decides to..) and working together both at the Athletic Edge Gymnastics Gym and Dutch Bros. They are currently roommates and Lauren inspires Emily to be a better person every day.

Sophia Barbosa

Sophia and Emily played college softball together freshman year, and are roommates now! Sophia has showed Emily "Chicago House Music" as well as how to dance. And she's a killer softball player.

Lindy Cardoza

Lindy is one of Emily's friends from Dutch Bros. Even though they no longer work at the same location, they still always have a blast together and enjoy each others' company.

Kasiti Ingram

Emily and Kasiti became friends in high school, but didn't really start hanging out until the end of high school and college. Emily and Kasiti hike together and are always finding fun adventures. Kasiti shares similar career goals as Emily and is going to be a nurse!

Graysen Ruedy

Graysen and Emily met in college, where they both studied biomedical sciences. Our favorite memory, the moment we became friends, is from a microbiology lab practical exam when Graysen was struggling to light a Bunsen burner and Emily slyly turned on the gas for her. Graysen and Emily also did microbiology research together at Corban.
