FAQs and Dance Tutorials

Question

Are kids invited? Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will include the names of all people invited (including if you are welcome to bring your children or a guest). We'd love to say the more the merrier, but we have a limited number of seats and food that will be available.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is complementary valet parking provided. Additionally, we are providing a trolley shuttle for guests staying at the Hampton Inn Deerfield Beach and Waterstone hotel. The shuttle will take guests from the hotels to the venue prior to the wedding and from the venue back to the hotels at the conclusion of the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m on December 11, 2021. We kindly ask guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional. Meaning tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. Upscale cocktail dresses and suits may also be worn.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Allison's family knows all about dietary restrictions, so a number one requirement when choosing our venue was making sure that all dietary needs can be met! Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure you will have something delicious to eat!

Question

What kind of music can I expect at a South Florida wedding?

Answer

We will be primarily playing Spanish and English music! We have a band that will play something for everybody. That being said, as Allison's family is hispanic, there will be salsa and merengue music played. If you would like to get a head start and learn some of these dances before our wedding so you will be ready to groove, please visit these YouTube tutorials! You can also search "Salsa Tutorial" and "Merengue Tutorial" on YouTube for more options! Question

If I am coming from out of town, is there a place I can get my hair, make-up, and nails done?

Answer

Yes! We recommend reaching out to Moda Hair Salon: 954.825.0088, and ask for either Judy or Mihn. Wash & Blow-dry start at $45.00 Hair styling starts at $95.00 Make-Up starts at $90.00 Hair depends on length and thickness of hair. Makeup depends on how elaborate you want your makeup or additional products you would like to add. For hair styling (updos) they recommend ladies come in with their hair washed and smoothly blow dried; otherwise, the cost increases.
