Annapolis is about 40 minutes from Kent Island and is the capital of Maryland. There are a lot of fun things to do there including checking out the Naval Academy, going out on the water, or walking around the downtown area (food/shops).

St. Michaels is about an hour drive from Kent Island and similar to Annapolis, has wonderful dining & entertainment and beautiful waterfront views!
