COVID Considerations

Things to Keep in Mind for this Weekend!

We are so excited to see everyone this weekend! We wanted to provide some considerations to keep in mind for the wedding with COVID. We will be providing this information when you check in at your hotel and at the venue. Please reach out if you have any questions! What are the blue bracelets? – While we request that all guests abide by the rules outlined below, please feel free to wear the bracelet provided in your hotel bags if you would like to signal to other guests that you would like to have extra distance for the wedding. Bride and Groom: The bride and groom were fully vaccinated prior to the wedding. We feel comfortable interacting with all of our friends and family, but please feel free to approach based on your own comfort level. Shuttle Busses: Please treat these like you would an airplane. Wear masks at all times and do your best to provide distance between yourself and others. Shuttles should only be at about 75% of capacity so there should be ample room for anyone who prefers extra space. Outdoor spaces: Based on Maryland guidelines, masks are not required for outdoor spaces. Weather permitting, this includes the ceremony and cocktail hour areas. However, if you feel more comfortable in a mask, please always feel free to wear one. Dance floor: As a structure that fully opens on three sides, the dancefloor is considered an outdoor space and the same rules apply as stated above. Masks are optional. Indoor Spaces / Ballroom: Based on Maryland guidelines, masks are required while moving around any indoor spaces. This includes traveling to the bar or restroom. Masks are not required while seated at a table We recognize that everyone has their own opinion and a different level of comfort related to Covid. We understand that you may not personally agree with all of these requests, but we hope that you will follow these guidelines out of respect for us and our guests so that everyone can enjoy a great wedding celebration.

Change the Date - May 1, 2021

In light of the current pandemic, and so we can all celebrate together safely, we have make the difficult decision to postpone our June 20th wedding to Saturday, May 1, 2021. While we are bummed we won't be able to celebrate with everyone in two months, this gives everyone an extra year to work on their dance moves! We have updated the 'FAQ' tab with some questions you may have about the change of date and any plans you may have underway for June 20th. We will be sending out a formal 'Change the Date' in the coming weeks so you can officially mark the new date on your calendar. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly if you have any other questions though! We hope everyone stays safe and healthy and takes this time to remember the things that matter most. We can't WAIT until next year where we can all celebrate twice as much!! Love, Melissa & Dan
