In lieu of wedding favors, we would like to give our guests the gift of music! So - before the ceremony begins, an ensemble of incredible singers and musicians will perform beautiful Christmas and Wedding choral music carefully chosen by the bride and groom for the occasion. Come early to snag your seat and enjoy this beautiful and special event.

Attire Suggestion: It's New Year's Eve! Wear what you'd like, but festive NYE-inspired ensembles are encouraged
This ceremony will not be a full Catholic Mass, so there will be no Rite of Communion; rather we will have a Liturgy of the Word (readings from Scripture) and the Rite of Marriage. Assigned seats are not our style, so sit anywhere that makes you smile! Finally, we respectfully request that you help to keep this ceremony to be "unplugged" - put your phones away on silent (or turn them off!) and just enjoy the moment with us. We promise to share our photos later!
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Once the ceremony ends, please head over to Mercy Hall on the southeast corner of the Resurrection campus and enjoy cookies and punch. Leave a voice message for the bride and groom on their audio guestbook, stop by the Selfie Station and take some photos (our hashtags is #hitchupthewagners2024), and leave suggestions for the bride and groom's "Bucket List". As soon as the newlyweds have finished formal photos in the church, they will come to the hall and greet you in a receiving line. RSVP not required - but if you like, let us know you're coming so we have enough treats :)

There will be a few lite bites to enjoy during Cocktail Hour, and the open bar will be available throughout the reception. Be sure to stop by our Memorial Table to see our display of loved ones attending in spirit, doll up your outfit with our NYE swag, and play Guest Bingo while you wait for the arrival of the bridge and groom. After a scrumptious dinner, get ready to dance through the decades! We’ll take a musical journey from the 1930s and 1940s during cocktails, move through the 1950s during dinner, then keep the hits of the decades rolling as the night goes on, all the way to today’s hits as we party towards midnight. We will play our last song at 11:50 pm and then hope you'll stick around for the grand finale: we'll assemble on Main Street in front the restaurant for a midnight countdown with sparklers and a midnight kiss for the happy couple before everyone departs!
