The Bedford Swan Hotel

Bedford Swan Hotel (pictured above) overlooks the Great Ouse River, near town centre, is a short walk to both the Train Station as well as to the wedding venue. Taxi services are available. Wellbeing Centre & Spa offer well-being treatments, body scrubs, facials, jacuzzi and more! If you book through our group rate, you will receive breakfast at the River Room Restaurant. Parking on first-come, first served basis available at the hotel. There is also parking available nearby in the town centre. Rate is £105 per double room (£95 for single) including breakfast. If you'd like to reserve using our wedding block, please e-mail weddings@bedfordswanhotel.co.uk for reservation (under "MUIR") and then you'll have to call (should be a short call for those calling internationally) to give your credit card details. Rooms through are rate are £105 per double room (£95 for single) including breakfast. If you book early (outside of our block) you may be able to get a room for as low as £89.

The Pilgrims Progress

The Pilgrim's Progress Hotel sits in the center of Bedford. The bottom floor of the hotel houses a Wetherspoon pub, a vibrant and friendly English pub, where you can drink and eat English fare. Rooms through our rate are £62.10 per night.

Flying into London

For those flying guests traveling from afar, we recommend flying into whatever airport is most affordable for you! London is a very connected city, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting a train into town and then into Bedford for the wedding!

East Midlands Train

Trains depart from London St. Pancras International Station to Bedford Railway Station about every half hour. The journey is about 35 minutes from station to station. Advanced tickets can be as little as £12.00, available about 2 1/2 months prior to date of travel.

Parking at Trinity Arts & Leisure Centre

Bromham Rd, Bedford MK40 2QD, UK All day public parking available for £5 just one block from wedding venue. If you park overnight, be sure to buy a new ticket in the morning (lot opens at 7am.)

River Street Car Park

14 River St, Bedford MK40 1PX, UK River Street Car Park allows overnight parking at £8.00/day, with Sundays free. This is right near the town centre, so would likely be the best option for those staying in town.

Allhallows Car Park

4 minute walk from wedding venue. Brace St, Bedford MK40 1LX, UK Daily parking £7.80. Parking is free after 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and free all day Sunday. PLEASE NOTE: Car park gate is closed from 8pm-6am, so you will not be able to get your car out during these times.
