We’re getting married!

After a long day of waiting around at the airport our flight to Austin, TX (and proposal plan) was cancelled on 4/2/22 due to a nationwide Airline issue. With our luggage already packed and traveling on our minds, we drove to Saint Augustine, FL to start our vacation. We booked our boutique hotel that morning and LJ could hardly wait to pop the question. Just 6 hours into our trip, LJ asked a couple staying at our hotel to snap a picture of us on the balcony. As LJ was digging around in his pocket for the ring box, Miranda caught on to what was unfolding. We both were filled with emotion, smiling and crying at the same time, as LJ proceeded to ask Miranda the big question. Miranda responded with a proud, “YES” and a kiss. The remainder of our trip was spent bike riding through the city, laying on the beach and exploring all of the food and drinks around us. What started as a defeating, second choice vacation ended up being our most memorable and special vacation yet. It was the vacation where we chose each other, forever.
