Portland International Airport (PDX) recently underwent a massive overhaul, and is not only rated as one of the best airports in the country, but is also one of the most beautiful airports in the world - and chock full of Portland local favorites. Here, you'll pay "street prices" and avoid those obnoxious upcharges you'd normally see in an airport. For those travelling to and from the east coast, you'll catch some spectacular views of the local mountains; on your flight into PDX, we'd recommend sitting on the right side of the plane for Mount St. Helens and Mount Ranier, or the left side for Mount Hood. Then swap for the flight back!

As we get closer to the 6 month mark, we should be able to share our hotel block details for you to proceed with booking. If the hotel is not your vibe, there are THOUSANDS of amazing Airbnb's, VRBO's, Vacasa's, Hipcamps, etc as far as private rentals go. Our favorite neighborhoods are Northwest Portland (Slabtown, Nob Hill), St. John's, Irvington, Hawthorne, Mississippi, Alberta, Brooklyn (where we live!), and Sellwood-Moreland.
