Chào Bàn/Table Greet
We are excited to share Vietnamese wedding traditions with our guests.
During the reception, we will be celebrating the Vietnamese tradition of "chào bàn". The bride and groom will greet each table in order to receive your blessings and gifts.
Traditionally, gifting is in the form of money - a sign of luck, prosperity, health, and happiness - in a card or envelope. Each table will select a representative to give a quick congratulatory toast to the bride and groom before presenting the gifts to the couple. When the bride and groom have made all their rounds, the party officially begins.
