Things To Do

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful Southern Arizona! If you’re able to make it a weekend trip, here are a few of our favorite ways to explore Tucson.

Hiking

Tucson is known for its stunning desert landscapes, mountain views, and unforgettable sunsets. If you enjoy hiking or scenic walks, these spots are well worth a visit: Sabino Canyon Recreation Area – One of Tucson’s most iconic outdoor destinations. Great for all fitness levels. Catalina State Park – Located near Oro Valley, this park offers beautiful desert trails with sweeping views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen, and a camera — the desert is beautiful year-round!

Restaurants

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed bite or a memorable dining experience, the Oro Valley area offers wonderful options: Saffron Indian Bistro – One of our favorite spots for Indian cuisine! Great for lunch or dinner. Wildflower – One of our go-to spots for fresh, American dishes! They've got a lovely outdoor patio with a great view of the mountains Noble Hops – A casual and fun option we love going to after a round of golf. Their patio is often the best spot to enjoy a beer and relax Tohono Chul Garden Bistro – Located inside the Tohono Chul botanical gardens, it offers a very unique dining experience. Perfect for brunch or lunch! El Molinito – A Tucson classic that serves traditional Sonoran Mexican food.

Museums

Whether you’re into aviation, history, or art, Tucson has a fantastic museum scene — perfect for a relaxed afternoon! Pima Air & Space Museum – One of the world’s largest aviation museums, with hundreds of historic aircraft and space exhibits spread across indoor hangars and outdoor grounds. You can explore everything from early warplanes to modern jets, and even learn about the adjacent aircraft “boneyard.” Titan Missile Museum – A truly unique historical experience! The museum offers guided tours into an actual Cold War-era missile silo, explaining the history and mechanics of America’s largest land-based missile systems. Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block – Great local and global art collections in a historic downtown setting. Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum – A must-see outdoor living museum blending desert wildlife, botanical gardens, and natural history.
