Maid of Honor
Meet Yesenia, my sister and friend and wisest of our four siblings. She laughs at her own jokes long before she finishes telling them, will not wait until end credits roll before asking your exact feedback on how many stars the movie deserved, and thinks any dessert without chocolate shouldn't have been made. She is the powerhouse of her household, the friend you can always confide in, the first who will show up for you before you can articulate you need a hand. She is truly impressive and she is my maid of honor!!
Bridesmaid
Meet Alyssa, my niece, friend, and lil nugget. I still think of her sometimes as my baby niece whose hand I had to hold walking through rough terrain on a hike so she wouldn't fall. I've watched her grow from the kid who carved her name into the stairs (uh oh lol) to a college grad forging her own path. She is a lovely, bold, and passionate woman who is a force to be admired. She is a thoughtful friend and my bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Meet Sarah, my dear friend since we were 15. She's the one I'd ride the bus with on our meandering weekend adventures to the Boulevard Mall, the one I'd sit and study with at Lied Library so many moons ago, and the one whose compassionate energy those who know her never take for granted. She's been drinking alarmingly large bowls of coffee since I met her, has an inability to keep hot Cheetos in the house because like me we will not share them, and has probably watched the Office enough times for even Steve Carell to question. She is a stunning new mom, a wonderful friend, and my bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Meet Melanie, my dear friend who I met on The Hill in 2010. I remember meeting this bright, cheery, sharp young woman in a pantsuit, wearing a jacket with the name of her dance troop embroidered on the back. This woman is multi-faceted! In the most Melanie of re-connections, it wasn't until she moved to Vegas and messaged me about a lost dog I posted about on Facebook that we became wonderful friends. We've gabbed and wined through stories of our dating adventures, hiked Nevada together, and celebrated many of our milestones together. Melanie is a trailblazer! And she's my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Jose is Liz's older brother and Wesley's close confidant, especially over late-night coffee and pan dulce. He will certainly be traveling the furthest for our celebration as he's currently serving in the armed forces on the other side of the globe. Wes is so grateful to have his love and support for this monumentous occasion, and excited to see him for the first time since his departure from the states over a year ago!
Groomsman
Meet Hector, another of Liz's caring brothers with a storied past and bright future. Hec is known for his devotion to family and willingness to always lend a hand. I'm so excited to have his help in throwing the worlds greatest party and know you will all come to love him as I have.
Best Man
Chris is Wesley's older brother who lives in Elizabeth City, NC with his wife, Stephanie, and two children, Tanner and Peyton. Chris has always served as Wesley's role model and helped him navigate many of life's challenges. His love, support, and engagement are sure to help our union on this most special night!
