Back Country Inn

Blocked rooms are under "Padgett-Metzger Wedding". Please call the Inn directly to make your reservation. Rooms have been blocked for 9/20-9/23. Rooms must be booked at at least 7 days in advance, any room not booked by Sept. 14th will be released. With our location, there are not many hotels available for booking so we have a limited amount or rooms. If you are interested in splitting costs and want to work out rooming with friends/other guests, please email us at lizardkingdom.wedding@gmail.com. We will create a google doc with all available rooms and interested parties and get everyone in a room that works best for them. The wedding site is approx. 37 minutes away.

There are quite a few houses for rent in the Telluride/Mountain Village, Placerville and Norwood areas. This is a great option for larger groups and for anyone wanting a more unique Southwest Colorado experience.

Wedding Property

Campers are welcome so set up on the same property as the event. There are 40 acres of Colorado woods to lay a bed, we just ask you respect the property as any good camper would. We want everyone to be as safe and comfortable as possible!
