What is the dress code for Saturday, really?

Answer

When we say no rules, we mean no rules. Go all out. Wear your wedding dress, wear a bedazzled hot dog costume. Whatever you've always wanted an excuse to wear - this is it. Go wild. OR - If this freedom stresses you out, you can just wear a dress or a suit/jacket and pants. But we'd rather you go a li'l ham. Up to you though! No prizes will be given! We just want people to be comfortable and feel like themselves.

Do I have to stay at Full Moon Resort?

Answer

Nope! There are many other beautiful lodging options in the Catskills, too. Please know though, Uber (nor other ride sharing apps) are not available in Big Indian & cell phone service is limited. For this reason, if staying offsite without a vehicle, arrangements for transportation will need to be made with a local car service. Please see the "Accommodations" tab for more information. If you choose to stay offsite Full Moon requires you to have prearranged transportation if you plan to stay for the after party. We will be checking in with all offsite guests about this closer to the date. If you do choose to stay offsite, please let us know if you'd like to join us at Full Moon Resort for Sunday breakfast - we would love to have you!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unless your invitation explicitly included a guest, we unfortunately can not accommodate any extra people. Thank you so much for understanding.

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

Pets are not allowed at Full Moon. Please make other arrangements for your furry friends. (But Artie will be there because we are special and he would love to receive all of your scritches and love while you wait to get home to your babies)

What Does Full Moon Provide For Their Guests?

Answer

Full moon is a rustic lodging facility, not a hotel, but it is quaint, clean, and provides:  Bath towels  Bed linens  Shampoo and soap  Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served  Complimentary Wireless Internet  Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House. Please note: cell phones do not work at Full Moon – There are no cell phone towers in this part of the Forest Preserve Housekeeping services are not provided during the course of the stay. Extra towels may be obtained from the Front Desk as needed.

What Should I Bring?

Answer

Full Moon Resort is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you. You may want: Bathrobe/slippers Toiletries/medicine; the Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment (bandaids, tylenol, etc) - nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon. Flashlight (or use your phone) Umbrella or raincoat (just in case)

Will there be cell reception?

Answer

There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. You will start to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability. Or there are apps that you can download that use Wi-Fi for calling and messaging.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?

Answer

Yes, but it has to stay in your rooms, it is not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws.

How Can Guests Be Reached At Full Moon?

Answer

Wifi will allow direct messaging to guests' cell phones on almost all of the property. During business hours the best number to reach guests at Full Moon is (845) 254-5117 (the front desk number). After hours all calls roll over to our answering service. Emergency messages will be sent to Full Moon Resort's Managers whom will relay the message to you in a timely manner. You can also email, text or call through the WiFi if your cell phone has this capability.

What food and beverages are available during my stay?

Answer

Between meal times there is coffee and tea available as well as a beverage vending machine available in the billiard room. The closest store is about 20 minutes away. Feel free to bring some snacks for your room!

Where Can I Smoke?

Answer

All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to take a nice walk away from the crowd and smoke if you have to. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms.

What Happens If I Lose Something While I'm At Full Moon?

Answer

Personal belongings must be removed from the facility at check out. Full Moon cannot accept responsibility for belongings left behind.
