Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside on the lakefront in Chicago. Shoes should consider a brief walk in grass and mild stairs.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Chicago has an average of 73 degrees and a high of 81 degrees. Weather should be pleasant. Our ceremony will be held outside, rain or shine. The good thing about Chicago is that it rarely rains for more than an hour at a time. Still-- please pack an umbrella, just in case.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

This is an intimate event and, unfortunately, our venue cannot accommodate guests other than those listed on your invitation. If you have questions or concerns regarding this, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Question

What are the transportation options?

Answer

Uber/Lyft: Ubers or Lyft will be the most convenient option if you do not have a car. Both options are fairly inexpensive in the city and are always reliable. CTA Red Line: Belmont red line station is a 20 minute walk to the ceremony location. CTA 36 Bus: The 36 bus stops at Broadway & Belmont, with a 10 minute walk to the ceremony location.
