ALTITUDE AND ALCOHOL

Drinking at altitude affects everyone a little differently. We recommend being cognizant of how alcohol is affecting you in the mountains, 8500 feet above sea level, and planning to hydrate more than your normal amount, whether or not you will be consuming alcohol.

Rocky Mountain Park Reservations

Due to the high volume of visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park, visitors wishing to enter the official park to hike or camp will need to book reservations in advance. Reservations are not needed for any wedding activities, or to enter Estes Park. The reservation system is in development, but if approved will go into effect May 28th, 2021. VRBO, AirBnb, and Shuttles

Both VRBO and AirBnb have excellent options for accommodation! Please note that guest shuttles to Della Terra will be available an hour prior to the wedding ceremony and depart from Fawn Valley Inn. Return shuttles to Fawn Valley Inn will be available throughout the evening. Guests not staying at Fawn Valley Inn are welcome to drive and park at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. Cars are able to be left overnight at Della Terra and picked up in the morning by 9:00am if needed. Please plan accordingly if you are unable to take a return shuttle from the wedding reception. The former Loyola rugby team has been tasked with removing keys from the hands of anyone who appears unsafe to drive.
