See you at 8296' feet

Peter and Liz meet at the classiest of establishments, McFadden's Pub, on a cold Chicago, Halloween night, at the suggestion of their mutual best friend Devon (sorry Devon). Despite the chilliness, Liz donned a belly-bearing Wonder Woman outfit, while Peter wore a combination of Uncle Sam and USA-themed attire, including tight, metallic red pants that he'd borrowed from a friend. Some would say their outfit matching was written in the stars.

During this period, Peter returns to Nebraska, Liz stays in Chicago, and we do not speak further of any other occurrences during this time, except that we're sorry for what happened on Devon's birthday (sorry, Devon).

Peter and Liz see each other at Devon's birthday dinner. Awkwardness ensues (sorry, Devon!)

At this time, a few months of are-we-or-aren't we ensues, while Devon worries in a corner about two of her best friends making her life increasingly awkward forever. SORRY, DEVON.

It's official. Devon worries about our future breakup, but hopes for the best.

Chicago remembers all the nights that we cannot. Good times ensue, with the best of friends!

Liz and Peter decide to take a chance on a city with easy access to the outdoors, the outdoor industry, and 300 days of sunshine. They sit down Devon to inform her that two of her best friends are leaving to move across the country. WE'RE SO SORRY, DEVON.

Liz and Peter explore the mountains, the city, and make plans to put down roots. They are quickly copied by friends Mike and Lindsay, Peter's sister Whitney and her husband Ingo, and later their friend Amine. They firmly believe they will convince the rest of their friends and family to move to colorful Colorado. Devon is able to visit with her now-fiance Taylor to reminisce about the good 'ole days (sorry, Taylor!)

After the horrendous year of 2020, we hope to see you all in Estes Park, CO for our wedding! Devon will be the Maid of Honor, where she will be tasked with handling all family issues, decorating snafus, and catering mix-ups. Please be kind to her. SORRY, DEVON!!!!!!
