Liz and Nathan met in 2019 in New York City. Their first date was at a Belgian beer bar in the West Village. They hit it off immediately on their second date and their relationship grew from there. Over the next six months, they stayed in touch while Liz skipped town for an idyllic summer acting contract on Nantucket and again for another contract in Sonora, CA. They found ways to bridge the time apart from a special day trip along the Metro North to Cold Spring, NY and time spent strolling the streets of Pacific Heights in San Francisco to countless video calls. After much time spent in different states, they spent a lot of time together in Liz’s (very small) studio apartment on the Upper West Side when the pandemic hit New York. Nathan somehow convinced Liz to move to Brooklyn where they shared their first proper apartment together. Over the years, they’ve enjoyed traveling near and far, cooking, concert-going, pastry walking and even running their first half marathon together. Nathan proposed in April 2023, at the Boscobel House and Gardens in Cold Spring, where they went on one of their favorite dates four years prior. They celebrated with dinner at Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and Liz was surprised by a group of their friends waiting at their apartment for a surprise "graduation" party. Currently, they live just outside of Detroit and are excited to continue their lives together in Michigan with many more adventures to come. They are thrilled to bring together all of their loved ones from California, New York and everywhere in between to celebrate their wedding!
