Maid of Honor

We met in Clothing and Design class during our freshman year at Hempstead High School. We have been best friends for over 15 years. Sherri has lived in lots of fun (and not so fun, i.e. Nebraska) places. She currently lives in Redwood City, California. I love that she isn't afraid to take the leap and go for it when it comes to her career, it also gives me a reason to vist her and travel ALL THE TIME. She throws one hell of a bachelorette party and like any best friend, she has always supported me in my pursuit of happiness. We have countless inside jokes and I couldn't imagine our special day without her standing next to me.

Kathleen Oltmanns

Bridesmaid

Kathy has always had the biggest heart. She is a night owl, so don't be alarmed if she is wondering the resort after hours. She cares deeply for our family and was married in Mexico. Her knowledge of destination wedding planning has been a big help in the wedding planning process. She is the eldest sister of the bride, wife to Matt, and momma to beautiful Olivia.

Ryan Small

Groomsman

The brides only brother, who lives and works in Dubuque, IA. He is a fun-loving guy who is always down for a great time and a couple drinks to talk things over. Ryan enjoys many sports and will be the first one out on the dance floor. He may have random outbursts of song lyrics and definitely needs help with evenly applying sunscreen. He has been the best big brother to his little sister Lizzie. Ryan will be standing on Liz's side at the wedding ceremony with his girlfriend Megan in attendance.

Anne Schreyer

Bridesmaid

Anne is the closest in age sister to Liz. She is always providing the best big-sister advice, usually unsolicited. She was married in Jamaica 6 years prior to Liz and Adams wedding and has provided lots help during the planning process. She will be kid-free for a week, so don't be alarmed if she gets a little tipsy or decides to do some cliff diving. Anne lives and works in Dubuque, IA, is married to Tim and is momma to Maxwell and Noah.

Erin Moodie

Best Woman

Erin is the sister of the Groom. She currently resides in the Chicagoland area and teaches High School English (among many other things). She has always been high energy, even when she was little and pushed her older brother into doing things he wasn't sure he wanted to do. From learning to ride a bike, to many years of playing soccer together, Erin was a wonderful influence on a great childhood together. Married to Ian Moodie, she brings her wonderful enthusiasm to every day.

Amanda Boleyn

Grooms Girl

Amanda Boleyn is the (adopted) sister of the Groom. Bo entered the groom's life when she came over for dinner once in high school, decided she liked it, and never left. Her unrelenting positivity and sense of fun brought a ton of joy into his life, and has made him laugh for nearly 15 years. Bo spends her time running her business, traveling the world, casting her pod, and being married to her wonderful husband Mike Sallander.

Ian Moodie

Groomsman

Ian Moodie is the brother-in-law (Erin) to the groom. Ian and Adams have been friends since Hempstead High School, where they shared an overlap in classes, activities, and sports for many years. Or that is what the groom tells himself as he thinks back on their time together. It surely had nothing to do with his sister that he eventually married...Ian's fierce debating and competitiveness always have made for fun social events and serve him well as an attorney in the Chicagoland area.

Christian Helmholz

Groomsman

Christian is the groom's brother from another mother. And father. It's complicated...Since the night Adams met Christian (and then went to Florida with him that weekend) he has never regretted a moment they have spent together. Christian is a genuinely fun, thoughtful, and loyal person who has provided the groom with everything from a shoulder to lean on, to helping moving furniture between apartments. While normally he would be officiating the vows, this ceremony the father of two gets to watch from the side accompanied by his lovely wife Michelle.
