Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids! We really do, but this will be an adult wedding celebration, except for kids involved in the ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

You can check your RSVP card attached to the invitation to see how many seats we've reserved for you. Our seating space is limited, so If you have questions, please give us a call.

Are you registered? Where?

You can see our Zola registry by clicking on the registry tab of this website. We are also registered at Crate & Barrel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will begin the ceremony at 5:30 pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier so that everyone can get seated and settled comfortably.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. My bridesmaids and I will be wearing long dresses, and Sam and his groomsmen will be in black suits. You can choose whatever makes you feel fancy and ready to dance.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Fountain Square Theatre. Street parking is free in Fountain Square. There is also a public lot at the corner of Shelby and Morris Streets, in front of the IMPD station and a second smaller public lot on Woodlawn Avenue, between Virginia Avenue and Shelby Street. If you don't want to mess with all of that, we recommend Uber or Lyft!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

The Alexander Hotel is only a mile from Fountain Square Theatre. Since parking space is limited, we recommend carpooling with Uber or Lyft.

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Alexander Hotel. Reserve your room under the Amadio Schumacher Wedding by October 23 for a discounted rate.
