Why am I not invited to the actual wedding?

Answer

I promise guys, we tried to make the big wedding happen. But in the end, we decided to do a small ceremony with a big afterparty. Let's be real, the party is the more fun part of a wedding anyway!

Will the party be inside or outside?

Answer

The Mountain Toad has a small indoor taproom with a large patio outside. We will have our fingers crossed for good fall weather because all of us squeezing into the taproom will be tight. The dance floor will be outside and there is a firepit. Bring layers and be prepared for anything!

What's the dress code?

Answer

We are calling it Colorado Chic. Ladies, think flowy dresses or skirts and don't be afraid to get western with it. Guys, leave the suits and dress shoes at home and think slacks, button-up shirts, and boots. Throw in a bolo-tie and pearl snaps if you're feeling spicy. Sturdy footwear recommended for everyone since the patio is mostly gravel. We will mainly be outside so bring layers!

Is there parking near the Mountain Toad?

Answer

There is free street parking around Golden after 5 PM. Just make sure you don't park on a city permit block because you will get a ticket. There is also a parking garage within walking distance that is $2.50/hr. There is also a parking lot at 304 10th St. at the intersection of 10th and Archer St. If coming from Boulder, we would highly encourage carpooling or going in on an Uber with a group of people.

Will there be food?

Answer

There will be a Mediterranean food truck (Ali Baba) on site that will be catering platters and sandwiches. You are more than welcome to buy more food from them if you're still hungry. We will also provide snacks and sweet treats.

Is it open bar?

Answer

We will set up a tab with a cap on it. Guests will be given wristbands. If we go over, people will be responsible for their own drinks. There will only be beer served at the toad but there is a bar called Ace-Hi Tavern down the block that you could always pop over to if you wanted something different.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! Bring your kiddos if you want or take a night off. Completely up to you.
