Our earliest memory together is of playing games with friends in the basement of the Cisler Center at LSSU. We were good friends during our first year of college, but that changed when Logan came out to visit me in Arizona that summer and helped convince me to stay in Michigan for school. Our relationship was built on sharing adventures together - hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, bonfires, you name it. 7 years, two pets, and two big moves later, here we are ready to get married!

Logan asked me to marry him on the lake at sunset in the place we feel most at home - Houghton Lake. He had me go sit out on the deck by the water, like we had done many times before, but then he came around the corner with our dog. Cooper was wearing a sign around his neck, but wouldn't look at me! Finally I pulled the "Will You Marry Me?" sign off, saw Logan holding the beautiful ring, and of course I said yes.
