San Clemente Pier & Beach Trail â Take a scenic stroll along the coast, soak up the ocean breeze! This beach has plenty of walking trails to enjoy morning walks. This area is not paved, so be prepared to walk on sand or gravel.
This is a local favorite to watch surfers and is a great place for sunbathing! The parking is limited here and you will need to go up and down stairs in order to get to the beach. If you like to surf, be sure to check it out!
For seasoned surfers visiting, San Onofre State Beach is a must-visit spot. Old Manâs: Ideal for longboarders. The Point: Located at the north end, The Point provides longer rides with both rights and occasional lefts, especially during a good southwest swell. Dogpatch: Situated further south, Dogpatch is known for its mellow waves, making it suitable for surfers of all levels. Entrance Fee: $15 per vehicle for day use. Hours: The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Directions: From I-5, take the Basilone Road exit and head south. The entrance to the San Onofre State Surfing Beach (Old Man's) is a turnout on the right before reaching the decommissioned power plant. It's best to arrive early, especially on weekends, as the parking lot can fill up quickly. What to Bring - Surfboard: A longboard or mid-length board is recommended for the gentle waves. Water & Snacks: Bring plenty of water and some snacks as there is no where to buy drinks/food at this location.

Doheny is Olivia's Family's favorite beach. It is a classic California beach known for its laid-back vibe, gentle waves, and scenic coastal views.
