Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We’re aiming for elegant beach wedding vibes—soft, romantic, and elevated, but never stuffy. Think outfits that feel right at home by the ocean at sunset: flowing fabrics, warm colors, effortless silhouettes, and a touch of coastal charm. Please check out our Pinterest for ideas: https://www.pinterest.com/ocartelli/moezidis-wedding-attire/ For Women: Flowy dresses in light or earthy tones, breezy midi or maxi dresses, soft prints, or a chic jumpsuit. Romantic fabrics like chiffon, satin, or linen blends are perfect. It will be chilly in January, so please bring layers—sweaters, wraps, shawls, or stylish jackets that complement your outfit. For Men: Light or medium-tone suits, dress shirts in airy fabrics, coastal colors, or a polished button-down with tailored trousers. Formal Hawaiian shirts (think refined prints and higher-quality fabrics) are absolutely welcome and totally fit the vibe when paired with chinos or dress pants. Jackets are encouraged (and will help with the cold!), but not required. Overall Vibe: Beachy, romantic, and elevated—but relaxed. Dress like you’re heading to a beautiful oceanfront celebration, not a ballroom. If it feels polished, light, and a little dreamy, you’re right on track. And remember—it cools down quickly, so cozy layers are your friend. What Not to Wear: To keep things cohesive and special, we kindly ask guests to avoid flip flops, jeans, cargo shorts, overly casual attire, or anything you'd wear for a day at the beach.

Question

Will the wedding be unplugged (no phones/photos)?

Answer

Yes, we kindly ask that our ceremony be an unplugged experience—meaning no phones, cameras, or devices during this special moment. We want everyone to be fully present with us as we say "I do," and we’ve got an amazing team of photographers capturing it all! During the reception, we ask for limited phone use so everyone can stay in the moment and enjoy the celebration. Snap a few fun pics if you’d like—just save the heavy scrolling and posting for later. 😊

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors (fingers crossed for sunny skies!). Cocktail hour will also be outdoors, so we recommend bringing a light layer just in case it gets breezy. The reception will take place indoors, so you’ll be comfortable once the sun goes down and the dancing begins!

Question

Will transportation for the Wedding be provided?

Answer

We encourage most people to carpool/rideshare to the wedding venue because parking will be limited. We have arranged a small shuttle bus to transport those who need it back to their local hotel/airbnb once the reception is over. This shuttle will also be available for drop-offs at the after party. This is a small bus (only seats 12 people at a time), so please be prepared to wait your turn. This bus will only be covering the local area for drop-offs (San Clemente/South Dana Point). If you have any concerns, please speak with the bride and groom before wedding day.

Question

Where are the bride & groom staying?

Answer

We will be staying at The Sea Horse Resort located at San Clemente Pier. Please see our Travel page to find a number of different hotel/vacation rental options to choose from.

Question

Are there hotel blocks/reservations?

Answer

We haven’t reserved any formal hotel blocks, but not to worry—San Clemente has plenty of great places to stay! From charming boutique hotels to beachside inns and vacation rentals, there’s something for everyone. We have listed plenty of hotel and rental options on the website.
